The Zapp™ Permanent Jewelry Welder™ is an entry-level permanent jewellery welder that helps novice PJ artists start and grow their own business. Manufactured and supported in the USA, the Zapp has an energy range ideal for most chain and is backed by a 3-year warranty.

Choose an energy setting between 3 to 10 Joules in single Joule increments, finding the right amount of energy to close most fine chain styles and jump rings. The Zapp is argon-ready and will connect to an argon source in seconds resulting in cleaner and stronger welding results that boost customer satisfaction. Use the Zapp with confidence as the high-quality tungsten electrodes deliver consistent welding results.

The differences between the Zapp and Zapp Plus are:

Energy Range

· The Zapp Plus has an energy range of 1-30 Joules. The Zapp has an energy range of 3-10 Joules. Both models are suitable for permanent jewellery.

Stylus

· The Zapp Plus uses an advanced stylus that provides a better welding experience. The Zapp uses a budget stylus that provides satisfactory welding results.

Stylus Extension

· The Zapp Plus will accept a stylus extension cord that provides up to nine feet in cord length, which is great for anklets. The Zapp does not have this option.



Available add on:

Orion Basic ADL- Auto Darkening Lens (Code: 24-305-407)

The Orion Basic ADL (Auto Darkening Lens) can be used with all Orion and Zapp pulse arc welders. The Basic ADL provides the necessary eye protection you need while welding. The lens automatically darkens during the weld. The Orion Basic ADL also holds the stylus in place, allowing the operator to use both hands to hold and adjust the workpiece.
