Description
The Vallorbe Pillar Checkering Hand File (150mm, Cut 1) is a high-precision Swiss-made file designed for controlled shaping, refining and finishing of flat and narrow surfaces. Its pillar profile with parallel sides makes it ideal for applications where straight edges, accurate dimensions and clean lines are essential.
Cut 1 provides a medium cutting action, striking the perfect balance between material removal and surface refinement. This makes it well suited for progressing from rough shaping to finer work, including checkering, edge refinement and precision fitting. The checkered tooth pattern promotes smooth cutting and helps reduce clogging, ensuring consistent performance across the full working length.
Manufactured in Switzerland from premium hardened steel, Vallorbe files are renowned for their sharp, precisely cut teeth, excellent durability and superior control. The 150mm length offers excellent manoeuvrability, allowing for accurate handling during detailed bench work.
