Top Tips for Perfect Pearl Care 

Pearls are relatively soft gems that are easily scratched by other items in your jewellery box.
Here are my top tips for caring for your pearls:

  • Protect pearls from exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes and hair spray. Put your pearls on after all your cosmetics have been applied!
  • Avoid exposure to dry conditions, especially hairdryers, which can cause pearls to become brittle. 
  • Wear your pearls as much as you can. The natural oils in skin actually help pearls maintain their lustre.
  • Never dip your pearls in a liquid cleaner - this will certainly weaken the thread and you don't want to end up with your pearls scattering everywhere!

This spray is so easy to use and a little goes a long way! Its unique formula is perfectly balanced to the PH of pearls and will gently remove surface impurities. 

Simply spray the special liquid onto your pearls, taking care not to wet the string. Then polish gently with a soft, dry cloth. That's it - and that's why it's "perfect"!
