Front Not Serrated Inverted Cone

Critical areas when setting angular gemstones such as princess cut diamonds are the edges of the gemstones themselves and the corners of the settings.

To avoid damaging the edges of the gemstones when fitting them into square bezel settings, for example, it makes sense to optimise the setting to the geometry of the gemstones. Where gravers cannot be used for this work step, the 2K-AU bur with its smooth front surface offers an optimal alternative.

This smooth, non-serrated front surface prevents unwanted milling contacts in the axial direction. Existing polished edges in the axial direction are therefore protected by the 2K-AU.

Furthermore, the 2K-AU can also be used to cut out or separate the individual grains during grain setting as well as to remove the bars between neighbouring gemstones.
