The Fretz HMR-107 is a larger version of the popular HMR-7 double ended insert hammer. Same as the standard HMR-7, with the new large HMR-107 you have the greatest variety of hammer shapes for forming, all in one hammer and now more suitable for larger format work.

The new large double insert hammer has eleven plastic ends that work metal without leaving marks. The plastic ends are held in place by a set screw, with a hex key included for removal. The nine different shapes of the inserts duplicates planishing, embossing and raising hammers. Useful for forming metal without stretching. The hammer has even more weight and heft than the original and is perfect for those larger format applications.

Like all the Fretz hammers, the polished rosewood handles are smooth and perfect. The head is cast from 420-grade stainless steel and tool hardened to 50 HRC for maximum durability and effectiveness.
